A minor fire broke out on Tuesday at the Gurgaon residence of cricketer Yuvraj Singh, but no one was injured, police said.
"The fire which appears to have been triggered by a short-circuit caused minor damage at the ground floor and the basement area of Yuvraj's DLF house," Gurgaon's police chief Hanief Qureshi said.
He said that two fire tenders had been pressed into service, which had put out the fire. "The fire spread to the basement from the wooden flooring," Qureshi said.
