Educated in Kathmandu and Delhi, a fitness enthusiast, Narendra Bansal, CMD, Intex Technologies (I) Ltd, gets inspired by the people he meets every day. He is respected among his peer group for his deep knowledge about the PC peripherals business. His latest craze is para-sailing.

Family life means: I belong to a traditional Marwari joint family. Being the eldest son, I feel it is my responsibility to bind the whole family together with love and affection and make the best out of time spent together.
 
When not in office can be found at: Home, helping my 15 year-old-son and 12-year-old daughter with their studies, or dining with my friends.

My passion: To live a balanced life.

Turning point in life: The year was 1996, when Intex was established. It brought out the “entrepreneur” in me. It gave a new dimension to my life.

Sports are: An extension to my routine activities. I am fond of adventurous water sports. I plan to para-sail and surf.

Inspiration: I feel the people we meet every day in life act as the best motivation to excel, both professionally and personally. 
 
Temptation that I can’t resist: Chaat and paneer tikka in Old Delhi.
